And thank you for visiting the site of my Los Angeles-based practice. Perhaps this is the first time in your life considering psychotherapy as an option. Or, perhaps you have tried counseling in the past, but for whatever reason, you did not feel heard or trusted your therapist.

Psychotherapy presents an opportunity for you to resolve problems together with an empathic and concerned professional. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where appreciation for the uniqueness of each personal journey guides the therapeutic exploration. My goal is to engage with you in a supportive, sensitive and empathic process of discovery and resolution, no matter what the issues might be. Some of what we collaborate on together may include:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety, intense worry, stress and panic attacks
  • Relationship Issues
  • Sexual Problems
  • Sex Work Issues
  • Gay, Lesbian, TG issues
  • Substance Abuse
  • Family of Origin Issues
  • Cross-Cultural Conflicts
  • Psychiatric Issues (in collaboration with a board certified psychiatrist)

My philosophy is that within every person, there is a unique story and experience. It is a privilege when someone chooses to share his or her life with me in the therapy room.

Psychotherapy is a joint partnership between client and therapist. Together, we will explore your issues at your own pace in a safe, emotionally trusting environment.

We will make every attempt to create resolutions and goals for your life situation. The aim of our work together is to strengthen and empower you so that you can lead a healthy and productive life with the choices you make.

I am also available to meet with couples. In relationships, problems tend to develop slowly over time. Unspoken feelings can undermine intimacy and turn to resentments. I help couples to reevaluate their relationship by uncovering hidden agendas, breaches of trust and disappointments. Our work may include addressing aspects of emotional and sexual intimacy, resolving conflicts, improving communication and reconnecting with past feelings of openness and hope for the future.
